Mumbai Blasts 7/11

It was so terrible & shocking to hear about these series of blasts in Mumbai last evening. It was so pathetic to see the bodies, victims, surviours, witnesses, injured etc in the news & each story was scary, touchy & so very depressing.

I dunno if the date of this blast is coincidental with 9/11 attacks or was it meant to be that way.

Y do they do such barbaric acts affecting the many hundreds of innocent people, shattering their dreams & their families dream? Don't they have a heart? What do they achieve doing this? How can they have peace of mind? R they human too? Why do they want to scare the people doing such things? There is so much fear I can sense. Each morning when a person leaves home, they are unsure if they would return safely. OMG...what a terrible feeling! Can't things get better?

All we can do is to pray for peace and to make this world a much better, safer n happier place to live in.

Any loss of human life is a tragedy. The only thing that makes any sense to me is that the people responsible have amassed so much anger (anger is another word for fear)that this makes it possible for them to loose the human conection and carry out their plans. I think we need to pray for a softening of their hearts as well, so they may stop taking their anger out on innocent people.

As horrible as this sounds, I choose to think that the people that died, may have chosen this ending as their life mission. Maybe the lose of their life will be the one to touch another to pray more, or touch a killer to put down his weapon, or get all of us to treat one another with more love and respect. If it is so, then they will not have suffered in vain, and their death will have served a purpose! I know this is not a comfort if it was one of your loved ones that sacrificed, and I am extreamly sorry for all of the families that lost someone they love because of this tragedy.

I will continue to pray for peace, and for all of us to love one another.

Depressing it is and I have pointers and people I am so very anger against who could have prevented this or minimised the effect of this tragedy! I dont want to talk about the people who sponsor this as they r playing a video game and when u play a video gam eu really dont know wht is reality and wht emotions really are.

All i know is, whoever has done this, has least cared for human life... they think life comes easy... as u said, its becoming increasing indefinite.. whethter u would be alive the next morning is a mystery... simply pathetic..may the innocent lives that have been lost rest in peace, those injured recover soon and those who have lost their loved ones get the courage to overcome this tragedy...

It's really tragic and shocking...I dont understand what sadistic pleasure these people get out of it...This attack was as big as the 1993 attack.
Kudos to Mumbaikars, normalcy on the next day itself

Definitely shocking. But what should India do to prevent this in future. NY 9/11, Madrid - 5/11, Mumbai 7/11. Indeed there is a pattern and the same evil forces are doing it. I have been a big follower of peace as well, but now I am realizing if you are peace loving forever the world will eat you. It works only if all are peace loving. Our neighbours are harboring terrorists and now Musharraf is the first to condone such acts first, I dont know if he said sorry after the blast or just before it. India needs to be strong. More and more I am appreciating what George Bush did to Taliban. Just get rid of them. Of course india cannot invade pakistan as both are militarily strong and a nuke war will claim more. But india need to send missile or whatever to finish the radical islam across the border. israel is fighting to get one soldier back. If you look at all world problems now, there is a commonality. Radical Islam.

India needs to improve on homeland security- it is difficult because of 1 billion people. but government has to be strong. They dont do anything because it might hurt the sentiment of Muslim terrorists. Just like Bush faces strong critics from crazy far left. I am not saying what Bush did is all correct, he has backbone to attack after 9/11. Will India ever do that ?

People are getting more ignorant and blinded as time goes by, be it following a religion or an ideology.

While No religion prescribes violence as a means to reach god or salvation, No ideology should demand violence to be part of it

But then when scoundrels lead the ignorant and the blind the common man suffers

u know...there's a sense of just accepting the fact that this is something we have to live with...know that there is evil in the world and that this can and will happen...twisted minds that we can't just wish away!!!

to show them that we can move on...that we will not stop living our lives in d face of terror...that may sound like big words...but fact is we do move on...life does go on...and that's the way to show cold blooded murderers that we will live through the nightmares they give us...

nothing can take away the pain we've felt and still do...and no we cannot even begin to imagine what ppl who lost closed ones feel...we can only pray for them to find the strength...to go on..

I wish praying was enough...but it is not. We have to exterminate terrorists from this planet. cut off their financial supply lines, destroy their intelligence network, infiltrate their ranks and annhilate it from within.....

well, you have no idea how I felt on 7/7 here in London, on one hand I was apprehensive about any probable blast, and on the other, if some cop would stop me coz I am an Asian (to make things worse, I was wearing a salwar too that day) :(

The world has to be healed.

I know the feeling. It is hurtful when such things happen in a civilized country. And why are the terrorists mainly from a certain religion ? Terrorism is not what any religion advocates. So why this and why now ?
