Change
I read this somewhere -
"Change is the only constant thing in this ever-changing world!"
And then I thought yup, its quite right.....everything / everyone changes....& most of the time it is warranted & welcome if it is for the better.
But on second thoughts I felt there are so many things nice just the way they are & needn't change at all! (like a mother's love, values, morales, scenic beauty etc. just to name a few.)
Lemme know ur views on "change". What changes in general are required for the betterment? And what need not change. :)

Thats why I changed ma hair-color last weekend....I changed ma hair style..and lot of things...Hehhe...
Jokes apart....I think certain things need not change...the ones you have mentioned....mothers love for example...

I tend to fight change, though I know it is inevitable. This is my mantra regarding change:
Change can be hard, but change always brings growth (of some kind,) and growth is ALWAYS good!
I also think while a mother's love remains a constant, it also goes through changes over time, it too grows, expands, changes....... But never ends.

"You must be the change you wish to see in this world". I've always thought that this quote by Mohan (you know, Mohandas Gandhi) was pretty profound.
Seriously though, I think change is necessary for almost everything. In a broad sense, unless we change, we will not be forced to innovate and improve our quality of life. There is no doubt that our quality of life has improved solely because of change - in terms of industry, technology and so on. However, whether this change makes us happy or not is a different issue. We come from villages to the US, and then start cribbing about how peaceful the village was :).

Change begins with us, each and every one of us. What do we have in our power to change ? Can we change the situation that we are in ? Sometimes yes. Can we change the characteristics of the other person we are dealing no? No ? So what can change ? Me, isn't it ?

We need changes, once in a while. Otherwis, we will get bored with life.. even if we are so accustomed and comfortable with it.
On the other hand, change in traditions, love, and other in-depth qualities, makes us loose our identity.. Hmm, we must save it!

I know! When it is spring, I don't want it to change but when it is winter, I look forward to the change!

I like this post...except for the "values, morals" part...they happen to be diff in diff contexts.

Welcome to my blog. Defintely, change is warranted esp along the changing times like u mentioned but then how can values & morals change? Its only that we do tend to modify them to suit the situations we face, just for our convience.

change...hmmm... a lot arnd me beens changing and m not likin it one bit...my comfort zone's been shaken and m still gettin used to the changes...
i guess it's a matter of convenience really...and i might sound selfish here but...if it's gonna affect us negatively don we just hate changes? no matter what...why...or when??!
and then again when chngs make one feel better and have a positive effect....we never complain do we?? and wellll sumtimes we even take them for granted!!....
hmmm...such is life...and we just have to live with it right?...

Agree with u....changes shd be the kind we like & welcome - then it becomes loadsa fun! Else it cud get unpleasant. But like u rightly said, we got no choice but to adhere to it.
