Handicapped?
My laptop is going for some routine maintenance & re-imaging etc & as result I can't do much over this weekend. Booooo.....
I feel so handicapped without it (already!)....Oh my! So much of dependence on the computers. I really wonder how they did without one just a few years ago? Oopsy! Its unthinkable for me.
I guess once we start getting so used to (& addicted as well) then we become so dependent by these comforts & luxuries of modern life that u wonder how we managed without them all long! (also applicable to cell phones & the like). Now its like a part of me is missing!
Gosh, how I wish I weren't this dependent!

Fortunately for you, you can play catch up on blog reading when you get it back. I too have had first-hand experience with having the internet out of order (What good is your computer without the net?)and it was tough. I will say, like childbirth, the painful memory fades once you have access again, so hang in there, and I will keep thinking good thoughts that the fix is a quick one, so you can again get your daily fix of computer use!

Once I got to the US I didnt get a cellphone and in the begining I missed it like crazy...but then a few days without it and I was fine again!!
In fact it was a relief not to be traceable at all times....

We are getting so spoilt, eh?
Just recently I was thinking about the pre-digital camera era and how I had managed to wait for the roll to get over and for the photos to get printed(though the day the photos were due from the photo lab used to be an exciting day!)
