Justice...finally!

At last the guilty has been convicted! I am indeed referring to the Priyadarshini Mattoo case.

Even though after a much delayed process, the truth has been triumphant & the guilty convicted. I just hope that this would be a lesson for others (i.e persons with such a mind as Santhosh Singh) & that they wldnt indulge in such acts.

Whenever I do read about such incidents I always wonder why such acts are committed firstly?

Does it give them any pleasure? Pleasure @ the cost of someone else's pain?
Do they wanna prove their machoism? Is this really machoism I truly wonder?!
Or is it some sort of revenge that they r fulfilling? Revenge fulfilled by raping & killing the girl & the family's happiness?
Or is it just a simple reason that they cannot control their lust quenches? What sort of humans are they if they cannot curb/curtail their lust?

Whatever be the reasons.....they shd just remember the consequences of committing such acts & also remember the bad karma they are causing to themselves. And above all, remember that God is watching us!

I sincerely pray & hope that no more such incidents happen in future & that the world is a much safer place for all beings.

Instances like these are many before us. The Dhananjoy Chatterjee case was a similar one. There also, circumstantial evidences helped confirm the convict.

Pleasure: May be yes; you can call it sadism.

Machoism: May be it has more to do with the lust developed towards a body. The person becomes irrelevant and only the body tempts these saps.

Revenge: Kind of.... As we know there is scope for revenge when the male sees no support from the female.

Lust: Yes, it is lust and they just fail to control it. End result? They will have to kill the prey in order to make themselves comfortable (only to be charged later...)

"The misery and agony of my daughter is finally over and she will now be able to rest in peace," was the reaction of Priyadarshini's father

Will the parents ever have a normal life?very painful and still worse when crimnals like them escape before their own eyes.
    as you said Justice...finally!

Nice to know that Truth finally won. I think all four points that you listed are the reasons for such incidents to occur. Hope such incidents dont occur henceforth.

*sigh* they are nothing but devils:-( I heard in Dubai they are very strict rules and people think 100 times before they decide on doing something bad..( even though all the gangesters are there still..) I wish our law had some strict rules to deal with those kind of people..

Truly when i read that the verdict was delivered I was so happy. I remember reading abt this case and the Jessica lal murder and thought that justice was dead.
Wonder what the devil were these guys thinking when they comited these heinous crimes...

This case really meandered with its twists and turns, but finally after 10 years, justice is served.
Why do people do something like this ? Difficult question. Everybody's mind has a different pattern, in some cases, the need for something (lust) combined with the damage to ego when she refused may have overcome his rationality and reason. In addition, given the fact that he was a senior IPS officer's son and had used that influence to get away from smaller things earlier would have led him to believe that nothing could happen to him. Now his life is also over, for taking an innocent's life.

way to go! great post!!! ur questions are too difficult to answer. guess we wont have an answer if we don't grill those buggers...coz we dnt have such kind of perversion in our minds, so we can't figure out what eggs them on to do such heinous things....

  • At 12:34 PM, Blogger Artnavy said…

Whatever the motive, such perverts deserve the capital punishment or at least castration. Cannot help the vehemence.

those who commit such crime must be made to suffer for it the rest of their life. Not this 3 meals a day concept in our jails. Or even hanging is not enough. They must be asking themselves "why did i do that?"

  • At 5:26 PM, Blogger Syam said…

reasons can be anything but this type of judgement would be a precedent for people who tend to do this type of crimes in future...

    truly food for thought...

    lemme try-
Does it give them any pleasure? it probably does, which is y u n i wldn be found rapin a gal- it takes a psychopath wit screwed up beliefs of pleasure n sadism
Do they wanna prove their machoism? machoism is jus a thought of upbringin. interaction wit de environ. think abt it- duels n murder were signs of machoism n chivalry not too long ago. n u wldn spot the mosquito tht drank ma blood fightin for a woman.
Or is it some sort of revenge that they r fulfilling? Revenge? i dbt if the retards who end up as rapists ve tht clear thought processes.
Or is it just a simple reason that they cannot control their lust quenches? BINGO!!
What sort of humans are they if they cannot curb/curtail their lust? DUH!!! rapists, child mollestors, ppl who impair kids for monetary pleasure... u call em HUMANS??????
